Transition
When children transfer to other settings, we provide handover information to the new setting. Many of our children go on to attend Harnham Infant School, which is on the same site. Regular meetings between the Pre-School Manager and the Head of Early Years at the school are held to assist transition. During the Summer Term, children who are due to start at the Infant school in September spend time in the Reception classrooms and outside areas to familiarise themselves with the new setting.
Two Year Check
Shortly after your child turns two, we will give you a written summary of how your child is progressing.
You may find it useful to share the information with other professionals such as health visitors who can use it as part of the Health and Development review.
